The Colorful World of Making Your Own Stained Glass Art
WHAT YOU LEARN
Our beginner courses will teach you all the skills you need to make a beautiful stained glass art piece. You will learn how to safely use a pattern, cut sheet glass, lead, solder and glaze a small stained glass panel and frame your work using the traditional methods used for hundreds of years.
WHAT YOU TAKE HOME
You will take home a finished stained glass panel created by YOU. The actual piece will vary by class and level (see class details for more information). You will also take home the knowledge and bragging rights in knowing you created something beautiful with your very own hands.
NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED
You must be 16 years or older to participate in our classes, or a 10+ year old child accompanied by an adult for the Kid Friendly classes. Our beginner courses are suitable for all experience levels. All classes require the use of upper body strength and the ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time.

Want to learn how to make stained glass art? Our classes include some elbow grease, fun, and satisfaction, because you leave with a comprehensive skillset and a finished piece of artwork that YOU made with your own hands.
Classes are purposely small (maximum 8 students per class) and you will have access to hands-on, detailed instruction with plenty of time to ask questions. All art supplies, tools, and safety gear will be provided for use during class. Classes are held at our studio in the heart of Fort Belvoir, VA.

All my stained glass pieces are original designs custom made to suit your room or space. If you are interested in commissioning a stained glass art piece for yourself or as a gift, please get in touch. The process is simple and your initial design consultation is free of charge.

The cost of custom stained glass varies and depends greatly on the complexity of the design, materials used and the processes and time involved. As a rule of thumb, you can generally expect to pay from $150-$225 per square foot for a custom-made stained glass piece.
There is a $50 non-refundable design fee that will be applied to the final cost of your custom quote. A 50% deposit is required to start the work with the remaining amount due upon completion.

I will gladly discuss options and present ideas for stained glass projects based on your vision. If my style fits your style then I will gladly work with you to create a one-of-a-kind art piece for you. Please be prepared to offer measurements and mounting options.

Yes! We offer parent/child experiences where you and your child will work together to create a stained glass suncatcher using a precut pattern. Students will learn to foil and solder. Go here to see our Kid-Friendly classes.

We have a limited supply of tools and supplies on hand for sale but can procure most items fairly easily. Let me know if this is something you're interested in.

At the moment we are working with preset patterns to help students gain general knowledge of stained glass making before delving into an intermediate design.
